Go to Google Search Console

Add Property
Click "Add Property" and enter your domain:

Verify Ownership
Choose ONE verification method:
✅ RECOMMENDED: HTML File Upload
- Download the HTML verification file from Google
- Upload it to your Base44 app hosting settings or root directory
- Visit the URL to confirm it's accessible
- Click "Verify" in Google Search Console

🔵 Alternative: Meta Tag Method
- Copy the meta tag Google provides
- Add it to your Layout.js in the <head> section
- Deploy your changes
- Click "Verify" in Google

⚠️ DNS TXT Record (Slowest)
- Copy the TXT record Google provides
- Log into your domain registrar (GoDaddy, etc.)
- Add new TXT record with the verification string
- Wait 24-48 hours for DNS propagation
- Check verification with:
nslookup -type=TXT thelaunch-pad.com - Click "Verify" in Google
❌ DNS changes can take 24-72 hours to propagate globally
Troubleshooting DNS: If DNS verification fails, the TXT record may not have propagated yet. Wait another 24 hours or switch to HTML file/meta tag verification for instant results.

✅ Submit Sitemap (DO THIS NOW)
- 1. Click "Sitemaps" in the left sidebar
- 2. Enter this URL in the box:

Request Indexing (Priority Pages)
Speed up indexing for your most important pages:
- Click the search bar at top of Search Console
- Enter full page URL (e.g., https://thelaunch-pad.com/Pricing)
- Click "Request Indexing" button
- Repeat for: Pricing, BusinessPlans, IdeaGenerator, LoanPreScreener
💡 Google indexes these pages faster (within days vs weeks)
Timeline: Google typically indexes new sites within 1-2 weeks. You'll start appearing in search results within 2-4 weeks.
📊 Google Analytics Setup (Optional but Recommended)
- 1Create GA4 Property:
- 2Get your Measurement ID (looks like G-XXXXXXXXXX)
- 3Add tracking code to your Layout.js (I can help with this)
⏳ What to Expect After Submission:
- "Processing data, please check again in a day or so" - This is NORMAL! Google needs time to crawl your site.
- 24-48 hours: Sitemap status changes to "Success" with pages discovered
- 3-7 days: Pages start appearing in Google search results
- 2-4 weeks: Full site indexed and ranking improves
