Terms & Conditions
1. Independent Contractor Status
You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or representative of LaunchPad. You are solely responsible for your own business operations, taxes, insurance, and compliance with all applicable laws.
2. No Liability for Advice
LaunchPad provides a platform for you to connect with clients but DOES NOT endorse, verify, or take responsibility for the quality, accuracy, or outcomes of your consulting advice. You assume FULL LIABILITY for all advice, recommendations, and services you provide to clients.
3. Professional Standards
You agree to:
- Maintain professional liability insurance (E&O insurance) of at least $1M coverage
- Comply with all applicable professional licensing and certification requirements
- Provide accurate information about your qualifications and experience
- Act in good faith and in the best interest of your clients
- Not provide advice outside your area of expertise
4. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LaunchPad, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:
- Your provision of consulting services
- Any advice or recommendations you provide to clients
- Your breach of this agreement
- Your violation of any law or regulation
- Claims of malpractice, negligence, or professional misconduct
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
LaunchPad provides the platform "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee client acquisition, revenue, or the success of your consulting business.
6. Compliance & Vetting
LaunchPad reserves the right to:
- Vet and approve consultants before granting platform access
- Request proof of credentials, certifications, and insurance
- Monitor consultant activity and client feedback
- Suspend or terminate consultant access for violations or poor performance
- Require background checks or additional documentation
7. Client Relationships
All client relationships, contracts, and payment arrangements are directly between you and the client. LaunchPad is not a party to these agreements and bears no responsibility for disputes, non-payment, or breach of contract.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, you must immediately cease using the consultant portal and identifying yourself as a LaunchPad consultant.
